@Alan, no, they popped it back on the ramps to show me the leaks, wheels and the bottle thingy was plastic and under the engine, not really sure what its for either. I think its missing a bolt that attatched to the block?

@Ali, I've got 5 leads for sale and might ebay them along with a standard air filter. Nothing is (apparently) major enough to stop me driving but will take things easy on Mull next week. The charge cooler damage was actually done a year ago! Its not leaking but the fins are out of shape and will cause problems at some stage.

I think a new chargecooler fitted at Merc is about £1,500 but understand if I remove the radiator bit and keep the ends I can get a radiator company to make a new one for a fraction?

Well, the service went ok and the price was nice. Excellent service at the RAC Service Centre in Norwich (thanks Glenn).

However, ickle BRCx is not well. For those of you at this years camping meet that knocking noise is a resevoir tucked in the engine bay with a snapped bracket, was greeted with a snapped HT lead, shown an oil and water leak (further investigation required), charge cooler is smashed and needs replacing, all 4 wheels are buckled and both rear shock bushes are falling apart.

Any ideas on cost folks?

Yeah yeah, tis short notice but does anybody want to pop over to Mull 10th-12th October for the Tunnocks Rally? Both Natalya (Talj) and I have some of last years photographs in this years programme and whilst we like the limelight amongst all the scoobies another Roadster or two would be cool

Not that I need to use it but try the 'incognito' tab and lose all history/cache when you close the window

Well, this years BritBall Run was tough and no more than 20 points covered the top 5 cars each day. Will be writing a diary type account of the event soonest but thought you'd all like to know that last years Champions Chris and Paul (Killer Viral) in their Blue Wave came second, just 1 point behind Team Smarties - the closest ever finish.

I didn't take my camera this year but there are a couple of pics here
