That's wrong. So wrong. Everyone knows that it's a greenhouse used to grow tomatoes and the tomato is a fruit.

The best place for trying the roadster on hills is at Cadwell park on the 21st November, book here:

Oh cool, you're not far from me. Welcome!

You gonna book and come along to Cadwell with one of your cars? Not sure the TVR would be wise if it's wet, but it'll be dry as I've already ordered the weather.

BTW: It's not a conservatory, it's a greenhouse, you can grow tomatoes back there and they will water themselves if you take the covers off.

There's probably more than one. After all, it's clever to protect his identity, that way if he's not available you can easily bring in a substitute and no-one will know any better!

Car Limits days can be booked on their web site, you don't have to wait for a TRn exclusive event to be organised.

It is Chris Kempt, I'll post below something he wrote on the Lotus forums about game playing and the time spent on this game that I found interesting:

No problem, it's what we do :O)

Out of interest... about a year and a half ago I did some calculations of the cumulative time spent playing games that we track. At that point enough time had been spent to:

Walk from Earth to Saturn.
Build 24 Great Pyramids or,
22 Empire state buildings
7 Hoover dams

And at that point 11.5 million hours of gameplay had been tracked in the UK alone equivalent to 146 million pounds worth of lost productivity!

Mmmmmmwahahahaha :O)

Also out of interest, thus far there have been around 11,799 minutes spent on this game.

Cheers

C

Where are the "before" shots?

Have you done it for yourself or for resale?

@Ian,

Really?
I don't think anyone experienced that even on the track day.....
I assume it kicks in after the ABS?

I have EBC green stuff and Ultimax discs. They look good, but thats about it. OEM are just as good.

You probably wouldn't see it on the activity day. You need to be up at 70ish, and then stand on the brakes. In my few years of driving the roadster I only had it cut in once.

Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA)
If you step on the pedal very fast but not hard enough, Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA) will assist you. It initiates controlled emergency braking, thus generating the high brake pressure necessary for ABS control. Brake Assist can save you those vital few metres in a tricky situation.

I wouldn't trust ebay for discs. But that's your decision.

I had Rossini discs on my roadster, they stopped just fine. They're not listed on the menus on their site but they do definitely do them. Just ring them.

About the braking, it took me a very long time before I experienced Braking Assistance on the roadster, this is an emergency thing where the roadster sees you're stopping VERY hard and takes over to stop the quickest possible! You feel the brake pedal drop further than you could push it from under your foot and boy did it stop! If I recall rightly it even puts the hazards on. I experienced it on the motorway at 70mph, I didn't like it as it actually stopped in a shorter distance than I would have aimed for! I remember hoping the car behind could stop as quick, luckily it was well spaced, as was I, so I really didn't need it but got it anyway!
