Thanks for the info people, manages to take a peak under gracey this morning and it is indeed the 5mm c clip that's gone. I've put the arm back on for now but anyone know where I could get a replacement local kinda thing.

Mine comes through the ashtray section for the min, took out the black tray and the phone sits nicely in the two grooves.
Ordered a mount for it that to stick on the dash.
