Hi All,

As above i can't be at the camping meet because me and the other half have gone and traded Bug in for a brand new Toyota IQ.

Such a funny little car instant smile on face, quite nippy too and i can't complain that we got a good deal too!

Will be sad to see Bug go but it was time with a lot of work needed on it so it was either shell out a load of money on Bug or trade it in.

Have loved being on here and the camping meet last year, even though i only had bug for one day off it. Thanks all for your help in the two years i have had bug.

Chris

Hi And welcome!

I had a Fortwo as my first care, a numeric blue passion.

Certainly a good little car i found as a starter.

Enjoy what ever you get.

It was a september 02 upgrade that went to peanut headlights. I got my mark 6 on the 1st september and supposedly i had one of the first at that stage.

Hi Dean,

Don't worry about the 1.5 the standard 80's hit that easily with a remap. i've had mine mapped now for a while with no issue.

What colour you got etc?

Remembering the press launch of the cars at smart MK, they mentioned that the coupe is more aerodynamic hence the top speed increase.

I never used a wiper remover, just lots of wiggling.

Quite a simple job to do really, was suprised.

I would suggest sealing all you can whilst you there, you might aswell

Run flats require special wheels generally and pressure monitoring sensors to let you know they are flat as visually they are difficult to tell.

Most decent garages will not fit them to ordinary wheels, also they are difficult to fit as the garages used to tell me when my mini had it's replaced.

Thanks for the help guys it was a fried ram module.

All sorted now, ended up buying new RAM and windows 7.

The annoying thing was the lap top was only a year to eighteen months old.

Was tempted to buy a new one and sell the old one on ebay at one point.

I knew you guys would point me in the right direction
