I had the same thing happen a few months ago, the part is around £50 from memory but it really isn't much fun to fit, I had to remove the throttle body and intercooler to get acces to the one torx screw which holds it in but was seized

Whether it's sensible or not is your call but yes if you connect it to earth it will assume the handbrake is always applied

At the risk of sounding obvious i would say that you need to replace a a lamda sensor, will most likely be a bolt out bolt in job but if it is in the exhaust as i suspect then they can sumtimes seize and require heting up with a blowtorch to get them out.

I looked at the ad and initially thought it seemed overpriced, but in retrospect, if any of us who wanted to sell kept our prices high then surely we could keep the values high and benefit all of us, theres nothing to be gained from trying to hammer down the values.

I was on that exact street just under a month ago and there was no gun fight in roadies then just cathedrals to look around with my parents, damn the poor timing of my holiday, another +1 for great choice of colour though

Yes it's doable but not plug and play, You need to relocate the switches to the lower panel as you would with a trip computer and then fabricate a surround for the stereo. There was talk that an off the shelf fascia for double din exists in japan but i personally haven't seen one and think everyone who has fitted a double din has made their own surround.

I have a notchback and have stuck the bumper sticker on the outside of the rear window and the window sticker in the middle of the front window just under the rear view mirror, it is actually completely obstructed by the mirror so not distracting at all. I may move the rear sticker and use it to cover my numberplate when i get into brooklands and off public roads.
