Roadster Cleaning & Detailing
I have been inspired to create this article on how to clean and detail the outside of a roadster after reading a thread about how to use a clay bar.

This article is a little AutoGlym heavy, this is due to buying my wife a kit to keep her new FourTwo clean and then never using it.

I thought that I would use as much of it as possible to clean my roadster.

Hope this helps someone out 1 day and i will post some pics tomoz when i have figured out how to reduce the size.

Boot Switch Release mod
As some Roadster owners know, accidentally pressing the boot switch while parked in traffic can be annoying and embarrassing. I've come up with the following solution which disables the switch while the car is turned on, and reverts back to standard configuration when the car is off. Total cost ~$4

Fitting Suspension (30mm Bilstein Streetline Kit)
Guide to fiting any suspension to a Smart Roadster. In this instance I used the Bilstein PPS1 Streetline Kit, which is a fixed suspension kt and reused the cups on the front end as the kit was cheaper without these.

The same processes woould apply to any lowering kit though as the principles and fixings are the same.

Good luck, this is a worthwhile mod and could cost you up to £200 (4 hours labour) to get a garage to do it!!
